As a dynamic and growing biotech park, we are very interested in exchange and cooperation with parks from all over the world. At IASP, we find experienced partners, e.g. for the topic of sustainability, or can draw on valuable studies.

Josep M. Piqué

Executive President

La Salle Technova Barcelona - Ramon Llull University, Spain

I have been member of IASP for more than 20 years. During all this time, my knowledge and my personal network of science parks and areas of innovation has been growing, developing strategic connections and partners around the world. Now, I’m a node of this network in Barcelona for connecting our ecosystem with the world: IASP’s global network is a key infrastructure for sharing knowledge and connecting ecosystems of innovation around the world!

Shigekata Mizuno

Executive Adviser

Kyoto Research Park, Japan

IASP is a valuable platform for supporting our Kyoto startups to participate in the global startup ecosystem and successfully expand their businesses abroad, which is a new priority for us. Through membership of IASP, our innovation district has been able to build partnerships with multiple overseas science parks, and learn from international best practices to strengthen the culture of entrepreneurship in Japan, increasing KRP’s ability to act as a window that connects Japanese companies with overseas companies.

Jitendra Sharma

MD & CEO

Andhra Pradhesh MedTech Zone, India

The ancient philosophy of Indian culture is rooted in the Vedic hymn: «May we move, nourish, work together in great energy, may what has been studied by us be filled with brilliance of understanding leading to knowledge.» This encapsulates the entire ecosystem, philosophy and contribution of IASP to all its members by sharing best practices, providing opportunities for global collaboration among peers, etc. With shared values of innovation spirit, curiosity and drive for excellence, IASP & AMTZ are natural partners in this journey.

Vumile Dlamini

CEO

Royal Science and Technology Park, Eswatini

One distinction about IASP is that it gives access nuanced global perspectives from both external experts and highly experienced practitioners from our industry. As a Science and Technology Park that has been designated a Special Economic Zone too, we are developing our strategic plan, a process in which the expertise and technical assistance of IASP has been crucial. The Strategigram tool has been considered by RSTP as an invaluable solution to help us analyze how to efficiently achieve our strategic goals, and benchmark our park at an international level.

Flavia Fiorin

Executive Manager

Tecnopuc, Brazil

At Tecnopuc, we build local and global connections with people, organizations and innovation ecosystems around the world. Internationalization is a strategic dimension aligned with Tecnopuc’s vision for today and for the future, and IASP membership has been highly valuable when it comes to increasing exchange with other technology parks around the world. This gave rise to an agreement with Tuspark, one of the most important projects in Chinese territory, located in Beijing, and the partnership was celebrated during the IASP World Conference.
