5.1. Services – Efficient Network
Smarter networking support enables our members to make meaningful connections through personal introductions, leading to new collaborations, new projects and new ideas. Our staff connect science park professionals with the right people at the right time, ensuring that they always have acess to any individual or organisation in our global network. Smarter networking is at the heart of what we do.
We curate, share and promote opportunities for STPs/AOIs and companies located in them, as well as providing out members the chance to showcase their calls in our Open Opportunities page.
Using our global platform, we also highlight the products and ideas of entrepeneurs, researchers, startups, SMEs and mature companies based in member innovation ecosystems, for example on our dedicated COVID-19 page that showcases what is going on in IASP communities and publishing solutions or initiatives related to the coronavirus outbreak.
The IASP website is both an online networking platform and a source of knowledge and information.
Members receive privileged acess to the members-only section, with features that facilitate international networking, especially through the IASP database of STP/AOI managers, a repository of on-demand knowledge sharing webinars and a series of tools to increase their interaction with other members of our community.
Through our POINT technology brokerage service, we help resident companies in IASP member organisations to reach their potential by introducing their technologies and solutions to key players worldwide.
The service is based on Open Innovation and provides a link between global corporations looking for technologies, and thousands of innovative companies in a wide variety of sectors and market places.
IASP produces statistics about the STP/AOI industry throughout the world, and conducts ad hoc surveys on specific issues of interest for our members. The information generated within our network is placed in the hands of our members, keeping them up-to-date with all the most recent developments in the industry.
